An early to mid-1980s lugged steel 57cm Nishiki, acquired at a flea market near Tompkins Square Park in NYC. 170mm Sugino cranks, Wellgo track pedals, 36 spoke Jalco-Sovos 700C fixed/free track wheel, 1/8” chain, Raleigh seat. Gearing is 41 up front and 16 in the rear. A concrete slab crushed the bars when I locked it once near a construction site, so I flipped and chopped them into bullhorns. MX BMX lever for the sparingly used front brake. I haven’t had time to remove the braze-on cable guides. Just keeping busy riding around town.
