This is a pro keirin raced frame made in 1988 by Mr. Nagasawa, the builder who made the frames for 10X World Sprint Champion Nakano Koichi. Custom built for my friend and retired keirin racer, Daisuke Watanabe. Had a broken chain stay (drive-side) which Matt Assenmacher (an expert builder based in Michigan) expertly repaired and then repainted it in its original color scheme. Decal set was graciously received from Mr. Nagasawa during a shop visit back in July of 2010 with Daisuke.

Someone prompted me to think about a very special tour of the Nagasawa shop in Osaka which I was fortunate to take the summer of 2010 while back in Japan visiting family. My friend, Daisuke Watanabe (now retired Keirin racer) was a good customer of Mr. Nagasawa's and arranged the visit one hot day. Here's an album of pics and a couple videos from that visit. PLUS I just scanned the catalog that Mr. N kindly gave me. At the time he said this was the only catalog they've every produced. What a gem it is, a snap shot from the late 70's or early 80's. Enjoy! (Thanks Richard Sachs for the prompting)
