bob's Team Raleigh

It's a late 70s - early 80s Team Raleigh I picked up for 50. I then converted it using all kinds of parts I had lying around (except for the rear wheel :) No expensive brand stuff but it's a blast to ride - and that's what it's all about. Those annoying e-bikers have a hard time keeping up.

The spex aren't very special but here goes:

Ti-Raleigh 20-30 high tensile balanced steel tubing frame. Made in Inglan :)

no-name fork | BBB headset; not my choice but that's what my LBS had lying around when he installed the fork :/ Campagnolo Mirage crank. Dunno which BB.

Tioga pedals on the pix but in the meantime replaced with MKSs and toe clips.

49t x 1/8" Miche chain ring mounted on the inside (inside-out) for the correct chainline (with this particular BB).

16t x 1/8" Miche cog, 1/8" Miche chain, Surly tugnut (works perfectly).

Original aluminium handlebar - flipped - flopped - chopped. Original stem is now replaced with 3TTT pro chrome.

Brooks saddle mounted to 25mm Kalloy seatpost.

Replaced the QR axle of the Dura Ace + Mavic CXP33 front wheel from my 18spd road bike with the original Raleigh axle.

Bearings aren't sealed off completely so i won't be using it on rainy days.

At the rear: One-one flip-flop 32 hub laced to FIR MT232 rim.

Accessories: bell :)

Thanks for looking!
