Don't think I've contributed to FGG since '08. Glad I decided at random to see if it still existed! Never got around to post my bestest-ever work bike, a Giant Omnium. For that I'll make another post. THIS one was sold to me by another messenger after his girlfriend upgraded. It has 650b wheels on Milwaukee hubs affording 32mm tires where there otherwise wouldn't be any space for practical urban riding. The frameset is fillet-brazed throughout as befits such a small frame and it's a long ways off from prestine any longer. I have some reach so the saddle sits as far back as possible on the layback Ti Campy post I borrowed from my Marinoni. I simultaneously love and hate this thing; It's symbolic of my struggles to find a properly-fitted bike after numerous 49cm 700c monstrosities some of which worked better than other but never looked proportional on me no matter how fast and murderous I rode/ flew. It's also symbolic of my struggles to remove myself from the courier industry after 20+ years* (off & on*) I have a sweet li'l gig right now which pays my rent, while another job allows me to live. Things never go as planned.
